Who's Playing

Buffalo @ Old Dominion

Current Records: Buffalo 1-2; Old Dominion 1-2

What to Know

The Buffalo Bulls will square off against the Old Dominion Monarchs on the road at 6 p.m. ET Saturday at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, but the Bulls were not quite the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers' equal in the second half when they met last week. It was a hard-fought contest, but Buffalo had to settle for a 28-25 loss against the Chanticleers. Despite the defeat, Buffalo got a solid performance out of RB Dylan McDuffie, who punched in one rushing touchdown.

Meanwhile, Old Dominion was expected to have a tough go of it last week, and that's exactly how things played out. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 45-17 to the Liberty Flames. Old Dominion was down 42-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Buffalo is the favorite in this one, with an expected 13-point margin of victory. They hadn't treated fans well this season, but they at least enjoy a 2-0 record against the spread.

The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 1-2. The Bulls are 0-1 after losses this year, the Monarchs 1-0.
